Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, Earth's environment has largely proven inhospitable to dinosaurs. The surviving creatures now reside in remote, tropical locales, reminiscent of the environments where they once flourished.
Above Left: Pinball Machine for the store set on the island Above Right: Arcade Game Machine for the Tropical Bar
Above: Signs and a poster for the Tropical Beach bar set in Suriname, the signs are in dutch or Sranan Tongo. The middle sign (top) features an illustrated dinosaur and it was printed on enamel as well as the one below. Also above is Suriname Currency which became hero / interacted with during the scene by the actors.
Above: A majority of the film is set on a boat which was owned by a character - I created various graphics for the set; sourcing full sized cleared charts, safety information, weather reports, folded charts and buoy guides. In addition to this we created personal items including photographs, magnets and seen here: a takeaway leaflet, a baseball collectors card, postcards, boat cards. Below: a basketball poster and an actor requested keepsake map of Haiti.
Also for the store set, there were 2 large magazine racks for magazines which I filled with fictional american / south american magazines. Some magazines needed to indicate the south american location so there are magazines here in Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch (the main language of Suriname). There are also magazines here with easter eggs in them, nodding to the previous films or Spielberg’s filmography / interests.
